A work in progress!

Hi!  It's about time I create a blog for Silver Wings Designs!  This will be a great tool for us to share giveaways, new creations, and things that we just don't have enough room for posting on Facebook :)  This is definitely a work in progress since I'm new to the blogging world.  Maybe I should start off with letting you know more about myself and my business...


I'm Carla and I live in Northeast Houston, Texas.  I have always considered myself a little crafty, but never really got going until my 3rd pregnancy and finding out, "It's a GIRL!"  I was beyond ecstatic since I had 2 adorable boys already (Jacob now 8 years old and Connor now 4 years old).  I began making hair bows galore!  It wasn't until the end of last year and after Hailey's 1st birthday that I decided to start making hand stamped jewelry.  I have to say I absolutely LOVE it!  It makes me feel so good to create something customized just for you, your mom, your grandma, your friend, or your daughter.  I love personalized gifts and I'm so happy to be able to create that for all of you!  My designs are completely custom and are created by ME.  I do all of the stamping by hand right in my own backyard.  Well, patio rather ;)  I will be so happy when my husband, Steve, finishes my heavy duty work bench in the garage.  Hint, hint, hon!  I work on your pieces as quickly as payment clears and all details have been discussed.  I'm just as excited to create them for you as you are to see them and get them.  In some cases I am able to do rush orders for a small fee so if you need your order by a certain date, please let me know when ordering.  I almost always post a sneak peek once your order has been completed so keep a look out for those!  It's best to email me at silverwingsdesigns@gmail.com to place an order or to ask any questions you may have.
